Slashcode Log In
New Feature
I thought I would show off a new feature. For this to work for some of you you will need to logout and log back in. Go look at
Ask and Yass. This uses a new httpd.directive. This is an example of the directive:
SlashSectionHost yass http://yass.tangent.org
This uses a very small amount of memory (and as a programmer you don't have to know anything about it). In the process how we send out cookies has been overhauled. If you get a chance log out and in. I have noticed that at least one version of Netscape isn't worked quite correctly (which is the version I use I might add).
There are no section blocks for those sections yet which is why the right hand side of the page is not behaving correctly if you are not logged in. The userlogin block also won't work till I make some modifications in it.
Please comment on any problems you find. This code is in CVS now.

Isn't this going boost the number of blocks in a system significantly? ie we're going to need index_blockname, as well as sectionanme_blockname for a lot of the blocks...??
Cool mod tho. I may be able to slim down the number of domain names I've got and just put them all on one, and one virtual user and site now.

Logo home link response (Score:1)
When I go to ask.slashcode.com and then click on the logo at the top of the page, the home that the link defaults to is again ask.slashcode.com. Shouldn't it take you to www.slashcode.com instead, or whatever amounts to the main page view?

You could give each section a unique look and feel, color code them, or whatever your little hart desires...
Cool mod BTW, I needed this for quiete some time, looks like its about time to get back into the fry, anyone interested in Free Slashhosting?
