On Mysql do you have to add a new datta base for every install or program you want to run or can you always use the same original dattabase?

    I don't think that was the question.

    I think he meant to ask whether on reinstall one has to create another database.

    • Basically each slashsite needs its own database. You can directly install on top of another site but it will wipe all of the data out from the previos install (this is running from install-slashsite, just typing "make install" from CVS is normally safe).
      Notice I said normally safe.
