Poll Comments Disappearing in Dual Slash Site

bofh writes "OK I got 2 slashsites.. one hostnamed base, the other is a Virtual Domain on the same server.(That's not a problem)...
Anyways running 1.0.9, my Poll comments on the V.D. site (laugh it up fuzzball) started one day to not load up with the URL
They will also not show up when I go to my and look for comments that I have posted..
yet The comments will show up when I moderate which comments have been posted by users on the poll
Just so you know, no problems as of yet on the hostname based site with a different SQL db and different tweaked out 1.0.9 I've tried switching the's between the 2 sites, but still no go.. Me thinks I got something rotten in the MySqL part, but I'm not certain where to start in with the debugging.
Anyone got any ideas???

  • Well, I have 4 sites running off one computer. I created a new user and db for all of them. And then modified the apache config as noted in the INSTALL and it works fine. I think your problem is probably an apache config problem.

Unless you've modified the file, which I hear is a big no no......

  • I have no idea which tweaks finally made it, but after checking through the db portion of the site, then made certain that all my tweaked code for colorization and layout weren't permutating into something ugly... I decided to post up another poll question, and lo and behold, the comments were allowed back on the site... OK I just wanted to let you guys now in case anyone has found similar "problems"..
