Slash-Ready hosting?

posted by Krow on 07:56 AM December 16th, 2001   Printer-friendly   Email story
Does anyone out there know of any hosting companies that offer slash-based sites? Slash would be the perfect medium for a project Im working on, but after multiple tries and endless problems with aging hardware and random incompatabilities Id rather have someone else install it for me. Please advise.

Geekizoid.com will start offering hosting at the end of this month. Stay tuned for an anouncement, and hopefully an article here.

The hosting company that I use is http://www.slashhosting.com [slashhosting.com]. They seem to do a good job.

Slash hosting is very good - but they're not inexpensive. :-)

and, as I have pointed out in the past when this same topic was discussed. Slashhosting.com refused to host my site unless I made them the owner of the domain and made www.myurl.net the url of the slashsite instead of somethingelse.myurl.net as I wanted.

These [openflows.org] guys have done a lot of slash sites [openflows.org] and I think they also do slash hosting.
  • Micah Yoder Internet Development [yoderdev.com] has provided me with excellent service and suppport. It's run by Micah Yoder, I believe he is offering both 2.2 and 2.0 hosting solutions.
