    Perhaps they're talking about the excessive nested tables that Slash uses to display which, although a browser rendering problem, reflects on slash's HTML output.

    I couldn't achieve the same effect without nesting tables so much, though I wouldn't want to. There are a few ways I would improve slashcode's HTML (and slashdot.org's use of body=black and text=black is just silly).

    If you're interested respond or something. I'll read back in a few hours, and tomorrow.

  • Resizing has more to do with the browsers than anything else. That's the constant war that webmasters fight. The lastest build of Mozilla, M16, is a lot better. Hopefully this will be a real alternative to IE. There's a javascript floating around, check macromedia or webmonkey. Basically it reloads the page when you resize the window.
