FINALL release?
Isn't there any interest in making SLASHCODE-only-distribution."

CowboyNeal was working on RPMs this afternoon, and will be doing debian packages next.

RPM would be cool. Or just a list of configurations (list of relevant packages and dependencies only for ANY distribution ). I don't mind the fact that I'm having to learn Perl, and SQL, and MySQL to put up Slashcode/Bender. And I don't mind sitting around typing './configure make make install' for hours. I'm just fustrated because troubleshooting the interoperations of Perl,MySQL,and Apache is a difficult for a newbie as stepping into an NFL game is for a backyard football player (I'm getting creamed).
  • Slashhosting.com is working on RPM's that will be installed on our Redhat Linux Virtual Dedicated servers. (A linux kernel running on top of a linux kernel for each customer with all kinds of other neat features.) I am thinking about releasing these to the public when they are finished.

I'm currently muddling through a Debian Slash install, I'd love if I could just apt-get it!!
