Setting up Bender on OpenBSD

posted by Krow on 11:16 AM January 10th, 2001   Printer-friendly   Email story
Joseph Mallett writes "I _had_ a working Slash site at sillystring.org, and I said to myself "hell this was easy, I should try Bender so I can use themes/skins and easily get away from the Slash look". So I installed Bender. Now when I run /etc/init.d/slashd start (even though I'm not on a Sys-V like system, I put it there for consistency reasons), it dumps all of the stuff which I am guessing should be the .shtml files to STDOUT, and I watch it scroll by. Has anyone else encountered this? Any idea what's the problem? Thanks in advance - I'm dying to get it working!"
Latest INSTALL should cover this (thanks to Pat Lynch for figuring it out).
