Futurama Cancelled

posted by Krow on 02:52 AM February 14th, 2002   Printer-friendly   Email story
Considering these releases are Futurama related, I thought I might pass along that Got Futurama is reporting on the cancellation of the show. I haven't found any official notice, but GF is organizing a petition and letter-writing drive. Anyway, just an FYI.
Krow: Ok, this is not even on topic for this site unless you consider the theme of our builds names, but it is a great show so go be a HTML monkey and fill out the form.

  • Even if the show is gone, slash releases can still be named after characters from said show. Think about it, how many new characters do they add in the first place?

There's enough material for naming slash releases well through slash20.4.32-ac45.. and I don't see slashcode hitting Emacs-like levels of release numbers any time soon.

On the other hand, might I suggest the next available codename slot be named as 'slurm'.
