ReloCounter - A simple counter for mod_relocate wi

posted by Krow on 04:48 PM February 27th, 2003   Printer-friendly   Email story
I've just released the first publicly available version of ReloCounter, a plugin for slashdot that manages your out bound click referrals for mod_relocate (.relo) URLS. You can pick up mod_relocate and ReloCounter-0.2.tar.gz. There are also the obligatory screenshots available.

  • 1. What's the use of being able to arbitrarily name .relo files? Does it lead to a better way log/track each time it's used?

    2. What's the value of the key/value pair so
    _URL=blah&value=blah2

    Nice plugin. I installed it last nite and it works like a champ!

    • 1) Just a featue for logging (I think last time I looked Virgin records used it for that too).

      2) Right, it just takes the key pairs and adds them back to the URL.

      You can't grep a dead tree.
      • For #2 - the key/value - what's a use for the value part?

        if mod_relocate passes through the _URL then what would one need a value param for?
