iomud writes "To whom it may concern, I have created an IRC channel on irc.slashnet.org called #slashcode. I invite slashcode users and wouldbe users with questions and comments to join up and chat about slash. So fire up your favorite IRC client and give it a whirl!"

  • I'm glad to say myself and another person have helped two people to slashdom thus far... if nobody is talking it's probably because we're not there, but stick around eventually we'll be in. I'd also like to add it's not all about help on install though that stuff comes up, mostly we're just friendly people who like slash :]
  • So what's the diff between the one everyone's been using for a long time (#slash) and this new one #slashcode?

  • Um ... #slash is on Slashnet. Has been for a long time. It is also in the FAQ [slashcode.com].
  • To my knowledge slashcode is the only channel on slashnet that's related to slash.. (i didnt see any channels other than #slashdot which I dont think is slashcode specific)
