Sorry if anything looks odd. We are upgrading to Fry as we speak (ok, we are upgraded now). So, we will be fixing links for the next couple of days :)

  • So, is any bugfixing release for Bender in the plans or everything is stopped until Fry?

Check out the Slash in Italian Project [kenobi.it]

    • All work is on Fry. The upgrade was pretty trivial. The difference between upgrade and new version is pretty much the same.
New code, you install it, a script updates your schema (which is in CVS but not in the new tarball we are giving out in the next couple of days).
Still one more schema change to go before that happens.

  • Sorry for bringing up this topic again... but how are the memory requirements compared to Bender (excluding templates cacheing)?
  • i logged in using a different browser and noticed that index.shtml wasn't being updated. is this a switch in the variables? the AC user when viewing the site still gets the index.shtml, but that page only has the static version of the site before the upgrade.
    • I did a conversion of a 2.0->2.2 site last nite. my index.shtml doesn't seem to be updated either. Slashd's running, I can see it in the process list, and in the logs it's showing its running but the time of the last mod of index.shtml is a few hours back from the last items in slashd's logfile.
