Slash working on Win32

posted by Krow on 07:28 AM January 14th, 2002   Printer-friendly   Email story
I got Slash 2.2 working on Win32. Everything seems to work except slashd. Compiling it was a pain in the butt but I have got guidelines on how to compile them and have provided precompiled binaries of Slash 2.2.3 for your convenience. The Slash Makefile is very Unixish so there is a separate installation script for it and of course, there were minor patches to various source files (diffs provided). You can find all the stuff on my Slash section of my website where you can post comments and suggestions. I hope that these minor changes can be incorporated into the core Slash releases.

Disclaimer: This is all as-is. It may or may not be useful and YMMV. If it is useful, I would be honoured to have given something back to this excellent software

Hey I was attempting to locate all the sql scripts for all the tables used in Slashcode...does anyone know where I can find them.. I am attempting a port which is probably not going to work, but I will try anyway.
  • This concept...win32 Slash.. has taken a fair amount of flack, so its great to see someone has finally cracked it
