Ok before i show off my ignorance to all the world I've got to say that i know nothing about how sourceforge works, but it seems to me that it would make sense to have a directory of links grouped by how the code was modified. Each link would lead to a page on the particular slash site of interest where the code and whatever documentation was provided could be found. This way if you were looking for something in particular you could poke around the site at the same time as you acquired the code.
