  Just curious, What version of slash are you runnning?
  
  I had the same problem at one point when I first launched my site. I dunno which version you are running but if you are in the 1.x series then you will need to restart slash in order for the changes to the colors to take place.

    You actually need to restart Apache, not the slash daemon itself.

    Of course, I'm sure that's what you meant ;)
