I'm sure there's an influx. However I wouldn't even try to compare it to the "slashdot effect". Id expect something like an extra 200-1000 hints inside of 24h, if I posted a link here.. maybe.
On slashdot, it's a totally different story. Were talking about ~2 million hits inside of 24h. It's actually quite fun to be slashdotted, thou after the first time, it just becomes annoying ;)
