  That is hard coded into the MySQL.pm library function $slashdb->countStories() in hof.pl.

  That should be an easy thing to make a variable, and it might be a good idea maybe if someone could code that in and have it appear in future slash updates.....

    I can add it to my list, but I would happily take a patch for this. All of HOF should be pulled out into a plugin at some point and its calls put into their own library (none of them are any good except to HOF).

      There are several hard coded values which I would like to change in Slash. Are there any guides for creating a proper patch?
