  At some point, I'd like to see the entire Slash-like moderation system pulled out of the core and turned into a plugin. Why? So it can be overridden and modified sanely. (I'd also like to see the same done for comment posting, so I can have a Wiki mode. :)

      It would work like any of the other comment modes -- 'Plain Old Text', 'HTML', 'Extrans', or 'Code'. That is, I could use Wiki formatting in my comments. It's just formatting, not "unlimited, unrestricted editing", as my original comment could be interpreted. :)

        Ok, that is what I thought you meant.
        So you just want anothing form of formatting? That is not terribly hard to do.
