Hiya. I'm a long time reader of Slashdot, going back to the late 90's, and I'm thinking of implementing a Slashdot style portal internally for my company. I really like the whole moderation system, but I also really need for individuals to be able to post documents to the site as well. Ideally, I'd be able to have teams collaborate on a document through a thread on the site, and they could post updates on the site. I'm thinking Slashcode might not be the best choice, but hey, who better to comment than you all! Some alternatives I've been looking at include Opencms and Plone, but neither of them seem to have that collabaration element either. Any suggestions?
