    Adding PRE to the list never worked for me either.
    • It seems (from reading my irc logs of #slash) that the allowed tags list only affects the stories, and not the comments. Why this is so baffles me to no end. I suspect it would take a major revision of the code to fix, and is thus not likely anytime soon. Customers of mine who want this feature will be shown Scoop and Xaraya until Slash has that functionality. :-)

      • I am betting that it wouldn't. Look at createComment() in comments.pl.

        You can't grep a dead tree.
        • Okay - I'll take a look. Can you see any reason why that var shouldn't be good for both createComment() and for the part of the code responsible for story text?
